Aftercare: Massage
Within the first 24–48 hours:
Drink plenty of water to support circulation and recovery
Avoid heavy meals for the first 6 hours
Avoid alcohol and other substances for 24 hours
Avoid heavy exercise for 24 hours
If you are new to massage, avoid significant sports or high‑intensity activity for 48 hours
Avoid cold showers or ice baths for 24 hours, as they can counteract the therapeutic effects
If you experience soreness:
Use contrast bathing on the area:
60 seconds cold
30 seconds hot
Repeat as needed to reduce tension and support circulation
What to expect:
You may feel sleepy, deeply relaxed, or experience heavier sleep than usual
